 System Design Coordinator



Objective:

The basic function of the System Design Coordinator is to provide exceptional customer service to our clients who are seeking sales, estimates, and installation information. The System Design Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling appointments in coordination with the System Design team, and then guiding clients through the installation process, ensuring timely communication and collaboration between sales and install to guarantee successful project completion and client satisfaction.


Additionally, this role will support marketing initiatives by assisting in the creation and distribution of promotional materials, helping with customer outreach, and contributing to the development of marketing strategies to drive business growth.



Primary Functions:

  • Answer client calls inquiring about sales and new projects
  • Management of system design schedule to ensure efficiency
  • Process and prioritize incoming leads using team-based software
  • Communicate with clients about and register equipment for rebates and/or warranties
  • Create and deliver client welcome folders
  • Marketing program maintenance, tracking, and reporting
  • System design commission reporting
  • Stay up to date on all company sales promotions, pricing, and state rebate specifications
  • Capture feedback, reviews, and testimonials upon project completion
  • Client thank you gift program management
  • Smoothly transition clients from the installation process to the maintenance program
  • Schedule HVAC checks and start-ups with clients
  • Shared CSR responsibilities with other office staff (maintaining a positive, empathic, and professional attitude, prompt responses to client inquires, proper client communication, ensure team and client satisfaction)


Secondary Functions:

  • Communicate system designer scheduling parameters with all office staff
  • Assist with coordinating installation manager, supervisor, and technician schedules
  • Facilitate company marketing initiatives as advised by the Marketing Manager (marketing campaigns focused on lead generation, LSA, social media, website management, Google Analytics, and other digital initiatives)
  • Acquisition and maintenance department supplies
  • Print and mail client correspondence
  • Obtain equipment pricing from vendors
  • Submittal of manufacturer co-op funds and tracking
  • Service tech lead reporting
  • Assist with scheduling home/equipment inspections
  • Assist with scheduling Install warranty calls directly with the Service Manager


Other tasks as requested by management and ownership



Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibility.



Work Environment

The requirements of this position involve participation in an office setting.



Conditions:

The System Design Coordinator will be held accountable to communicate daily with clients and employees from all departments and is expected to uphold a high standard of professionalism. Any/all interactions within the company and on company grounds should always adhere to the core values of Lawrence Air Systems, Inc.


Proper presentation is required. Workday attire should resemble a business casual style. Please refer to the LAS handbook for attire specifications.


The physical demands for this position are light. Must be able to occasionally lift delivered equipment and/or parts 30 pounds or less.



Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The System Design Coordinator postion will provide a 40 hour work week with the option of seasonal available overtime. Office business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 4:00pm. This position will require attendance during those hours with the understanding that timeliness is critical to daily preperation. Dedicated attendance is necessary to uphold position responsibilities and to provide proper support to team members.



Travel

This position requires no use of company vehicles.

 Installation Technician

 

Objective:

The basic function of the Installation Technician is to professionally install HVAC equipment assigned by the Installation Coordinators, Supervisor and Manager for both residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities will include maintaining the quality of work to acceptable company standards, completing tasks in a timely manner and representing the company in a qualified manner.



Primary Functions:

  • The ability to climb, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, lift, and work in diverse temperature ranges and in high or enclosed spaces, and outside in various weather conditions
  • Efficient and effective response to customer installation and equipment needs
  • Install a variety of heating & cooling residential and commercial equipment
  • Adhering to proper procedures in the use of paperwork (work order forms, dispatch/job notes, etc.)
  • Follow scheduling direction from manager, supervisor and coordinators
  • Keeping the coordinator informed as of job statuses
  • Log equipment information into scheduling software
  • Take and send pictures to office staff of equipment as needed
  • Communicate with Warehouse staff about parts and/or equipment needed for job sites

 

Secondary Functions:

  • Maintain a neat appearance and neat upkeep of company vehicle
  • Attend scheduled training classes and seminars as required by management
  • Maintain company sales promotions and pricing updates
  • Responsible for having all minimum required stock on truck at all times
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and company technologies
  • Other tasks as delegated by the Management team


 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position may have supervision responsibilities and can be asked to mentor apprentices as needed.


Work Environment

The requirements of this position require participation in a variety of work-space environments.

The physical demands for this position are high. Must be able to occasionally lift equipment and/or parts 50 pounds or greater. Must be able to withstand the physical requirements of the position and adapt to changing environments.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Office business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 4:00pm, however this position requires attendence 7:30am- through 4:00pm. Supporting peers and completion of projects may require working beyond 4:00pm. Occasionally, weekend projects may be avaiabl. This postion will provide a 40 hour work week with the option for overtime. 


Travel

The Installation Technician will be responsible for the upkeep of their company vehicle. In addition, said Installation Technician will promise to abide by enforced motor vehicle laws and will ensure safe operation of vehicles when in use. Service Technician


Objective:

The basic function of the service technician is to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems. The Service Technician is responsible for performing those operations as assigned to them by the Service Manager, Service Coordinator and/or Maintenance Coordinator. They are responsible for maintaining the quality of their work up to acceptable company standards and for representing the company in a manner that promotes good relations.


   

Primary Functions:

  • The ability to climb, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, lift, and work in diverse temperature ranges and in high or enclosed spaces, and outside in various weather conditions
  • Efficient and effective response to customer service and maintenance needs
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment properly at a customer’s location
  • Diagnosing and repairs recommended to be completed without call-backs
  • Perform maintenance on equipment to company standards and customer requirements
  • Adhering to proper procedures in the use of paperwork (work order forms, dispatch/job notes, etc.)
  • Follow scheduling direction from manager and coordinators
  • Keeping the coordinator informed as of job statuses
  • Quote recommend repairs
  • Collect payment for quoted and invoiced services rendered
  • Stay up to date of all company sales promotions and pricing
  • Secondary Functions:
  • Maintain a neat appearance and neat upkeep of company vehicle
  • Promotion of Annual Maintenance Program
  • Forwarding recommended system replacements to design team
  • Perform system replacements when needed
  • Attend scheduled training classes and seminars as required by management
  • Maintain company sales promotions and pricing updates
  • Responsible for having all minimum required stock on truck at all times
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and company technologies
  • Other tasks as delegated by the Management team
